I would like to take a minute of my time to explain to you problems and discrepancies of communism and capitalism. I believe it would be beneficial to begin this entry by explaining to you what capitalism and communism is without any connotations.
Capitalism is the idea of a free market with no government involvement. In this economic system people are free to do what they please. People are completely individual and pursue what career they want. The main goal is money and to become successful. The rich are important to society (economically) and the poor only take up money. People start businesses as they please and hire and pay people as they please. The government has no involvement.
Communism is completely controlled by the government. People are told where to work what to buy and who to hire. People are to follow the government's wants. The main goal is to grow the government and make the government stronger. All people are equal in communism. The business owner and the cashier are equally important. There is little economic freedom.
So from a quick shallow look the is an obvious choice, but if we take a deeper look into the forms of economy, we will find that the two can be equally wicked and good. The factor that differs if the economy will be good or wicked depends on the conscience of the source of power. For capitalism that would be the people. For communism that would be the government.
So people assume that communism is bad, but what they don't understand is that that is only because the governments who have taken that form of government are bed. So if you had a government who was selfless and worked for the people then the people would work to support the government and the government would work to support the people. The government would have jobs of every kind and people, no matter what financial state people are in or what job they have people would be considered equal. The problem with the system is that no matter who how pure the government is there will never be any individuality.
capitalism depends on the people. If the people are fair and just, and above all smart, then the country should live long and prosper. If the people only look for money then the country will not supply everything they need and the country will perish. No matter how nice and smart everyone is the rich will get richer and the poor will get poorer. That is capitalism's fatal flaw that cannot be overcome easily whatsoever.
I hope I have helped your knowledge of economic theories!
